Description
Location history visualization by Aaron Parecki mapping everywhere he has traveled, using GPS logs to create personal cartography. Parecki, a developer and quantified self enthusiast based in Portland, Oregon, has been logging his GPS location continuously since 2008, amassing millions of data points. The resulting maps show every street walked, every road driven, and every flight taken — a comprehensive record of physical presence over more than a decade. Parecki is the co-founder of IndieWebCamp, editor of several W3C specifications including Micropub and WebSub, and a frequent speaker at quantified self meetups. His project demonstrates the power and intimacy of long-duration personal data collection.
