Information visualization and data art by Moritz Stefaner, a German data visualization designer who calls himself a "truth and beauty operator," working at the intersection of interface design, data visualization, and information aesthetics. With a background in Cognitive Science (B.Sc., University of Osnabrück) and Interface Design (M.A., FH Potsdam), Stefaner has consulting relationships with clients including OECD, Google News Initiative, Salesforce, Deutsche Bahn, and the Max Planck Research Society. Key projects include the OECD Better Life Index (over six million visitors), Elastic Lists, the Climate-Conflict-Vulnerability Index, and various network visualizations. He also co-hosted the Data Stories podcast with Enrico Bertini (2012-2023).
