"Income's Outcome" by Danica Phelps, a project started in 2012 when a gallery asked her to make an installation for a booth at the Cologne Art Fair. She looked at her bank account balance and decided to draw everything she spent that money on. When drawings sold, she made new generations tracking who bought each one, when, where, and for how much, then drew everything she spent that money on until it ran out. Over 4 years and 17 exhibitions, she generated 388 drawings. Green stripes each represent one dollar coming in; red stripes represent a dollar spent.
