Description
Infographics published by GOOD Magazine covering social issues, sustainability, and civic topics. GOOD Magazine (now GOOD.is), founded in 2006 by Ben Goldhirsh, was known for its infographic series called "Transparency," produced in collaboration with Column Five Media, a creative agency co-founded by Ross Crooks and Jason Lankow. Each "Transparency" piece took a social or policy topic — education spending, water usage, energy policy, food systems — and distilled it into a single, poster-worthy graphic. The series helped popularize the infographic format in the late 2000s and demonstrated that data visualization could serve civic engagement as effectively as entertainment or business intelligence.
