Description
Personal diabetes data visualization by Douglas Kanter, an NYU ITP graduate. The idea of Databetes is to create a tool to help patients manage the "mental burden" of diabetes by collecting and presenting data to help them make informed decisions. At the 2013 QS Global Conference, Kanter shared what he learned from a year-long quantified self project through 2012, tracking every data point that influenced his type-1 diabetes — blood glucose levels, insulin doses, diet, activity, and lifestyle factors.
