Description
Public art installation by leadership coach Nancy Belmont in Alexandria, Virginia: giant blackboards stretching eight feet tall and twenty feet wide along a wooden fence on a busy street, with a bucket of chalk on each side. The top asks what people wish they had the courage to do. Within hours, the chalkboard was full. Inspired by a TED talk and the Before I Die project in New Orleans, Belmont created the project after a 360 leadership assessment identified she needed to be more courageously authentic. Responses ranged from "adopting a child" to "start a business" to "be me."
